Aetheric fire magic has two basic spells, sometimes collectively referred to as pyromancy: pyrokinesis—manipulation of preexisting fire—and pyrogenesis—creation of fire.
Pyrokinesis Rank 1 – Control the movement of small flames, such as a fireplace. Extremely useful to help spread or contain fires. Cannot increase the size or temperature of flames against the laws of nature, i.e. requires oxygen, flammable material, accelerant, etc.
Pyrogenesis Rank 1 – Ignite a small handheld flame through spontaneous combustion of temperatures no hotter than 2,000 °F, roughly that of a candle.
Cauterize – Use a controlled flame to seal wounds and stop bleeding to yourself or allies within arm’s reach.
Pyrokinesis Rank 2 – Extinguish or control the movement of large flames, such as a car fire.
Pyrogenesis Rank 2 – Ignite a large flame at range no hotter than 2,750 °F, the melting point of iron.
Agni’s Breath – Let loose a concentrated stream of fire that grows stronger and reaches farther with higher levels of mastery.
Pyrokinesis Rank 3 – Extinguish or control the movement of enormous flames, such as a house fire.
Pyrogenesis Rank 3 – Ignite a flame no hotter than 6,000 °F, the boiling point of titanium.
Promethean Pulse – Release an instantaneous omnidirectional shockwave that melts metals and incinerates organic matter.
Sol Invocation/Heart's Fire – Gain a sustained pseudo-adrenaline rush while in direct, bright sunlight.
Pyrogenesis Rank 4 – Ignite a catastrophic flame of 10,000 °F, the surface temperature of the Sun.
Ignis Bestowal – Temporarily substitute a portion of a living body’s natural need for energy, reducing hunger and fatigue, and aiding the body’s healing process.
Pyrokinesis Rank 4 – Extinguish or control the movement of catastrophic flames, such as a forest fire.
Soul of Flame – Innate immunity to heat and terrestrial flame.
Pyrokinesis Rank 5 – Manipulate the movement of all terrestrial-based flames and heat.
Pyrogenesis Rank 5 – Conjure fires with no measurable limits—estimated to be equal or greater than the core of a star in the tens to hundreds of millions of degrees. Instantaneous vaporization.
Hephaestus’s Armory – Forge weapons of pure white-hot flame that only the chosen may wield.
Will-o’-the-wisp – Space + Fire can be used to spread flames against natural laws such as floating in midair. (Intermediate)
Immortal Flames – Time + Fire can slow or stop the rate of oxygen and fuel consumption making a long lasting flame. The fire will continue to burn whatever it comes in contact with and is impossible to extinguish until the Time spell ends. (Expert)
Vulcanize – Space + Fire an put an object under immense pressure and heat to alter its molecular structure, such as turning coal to diamond. (Master)
Pyroclasm – Earth + Fire turns natural ground to lava in a wide area that can be channeled into geysers and flares. (Master)
